Are you a graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in science, engineering, humanities, social sciences, or law? Do you want to acquire solid management skills without prior knowledge of economics? Our university programme in General Management is designed to meet your expectations. Through this programme, you will receive comprehensive training in all the main branches of management, mastering key concepts and fundamental tools. You will also work in teams to solve real-world management problems.
By the end of the programme, you will be able to:
The Master’s in General Management allows you to turn an interest or passion into a potential career or explore new professional horizons. You will be prepared to take on managerial roles in start-ups, companies, multinational organizations, public institutions, government bodies, or non-governmental organizations. Additionally, you can hold management positions aligned with your previous field of study.
The programme spans three semesters. The first two semesters focus on fundamental courses (54 compulsory ECTS) covering various areas of management. The final semester is designed to further develop key skills through the Business Game. Students can also deepen their expertise in a specific area of interest by selecting elective courses, completing an internship, or writing a Master’s thesis. Electives can be chosen from courses offered in other Master’s programmes within the Faculty.
Students also have the opportunity to participate in an exchange programme at a university within the Faculty’s mobility network. By signing a study agreement, students can earn 30 ECTS at a Swiss or foreign university.
The programme can also be completed on a part-time basis.
The courses are taught by professors and specialists from all the institutes within the Faculty of Economics, including finance, economics, information management, human resources, marketing, accounting, and more. The programme provides solid management knowledge and personalized support. Its interdisciplinary nature ensures strong appeal in the job market by addressing the needs of businesses and organizations
The programme is open to holders of a Bachelor’s degree (180 ECTS) or Master’s degree awarded by a Swiss university, a Swiss university of applied sciences (HES), or another equivalent qualification. Applications are evaluated by an admissions committee.
