This introductory course familiarizes participants with the R and RStudio environment for statistical computing and graphics. Through hands‑on exercises, students learn how to perform basic exploratory analyses, write simple R expressions, generate tables and figures, and work with R scripts. No prior experience with R or programming is required; participants only need basic computer skills. University computers are available, or students may bring their own laptop after completing a short technical check two days before the course.
Dates: March 5-6 & 19-20, 2026
Registration via CUSO , also for DSLS members (5 spots)
Reminder:
The DSLS reminds participants that for activities organised in collaboration with CUSO, only travel costs can be reimbursed, based on a standard half‑fare CFF return ticket between Neuchâtel and the activity location. Accommodation, meals, and other subsistence expenses are not covered unless lunch is explicitly included in the CUSO activity. Any exception must be requested in advance—at least five days before the event—and depends on available budget. Students attending through CUSO‑reserved places follow CUSO’s reimbursement rules, and all participants must keep their original tickets and receipts.
