Description

This event targets doctoral candidates and postdoctoral researchers who wish to gain a clearer understanding of funding and career opportunities available after completing their current academic position.

 

Participants will receive detailed information on:

  • Career funding opportunities offered through the SNSF and Horizon Europe career schemes
  • Additional funding schemes available at the postdoctoral level
  • Support services provided by UniNE's Grants Office (SRI) and Euresearch
  • Research valorisation opportunities, including pathways for knowledge transfer, collaboration with external partners, and innovation

 

Time will be reserved for questions and discussion, which may continue informally during the apéritif that follows

 

Objectives

 

By the end of the event, participants will:

  • Gain a better understanding of the different funding opportunities available at the postdoctoral level
  • Be better equipped for planning strategically the next steps of their research career
  • Understand the eligibility criteria of major funding bodies (SNSF, Horizon Europe)
  • Identify the resources and support services available at UniNE (and through external partners) to successfully prepare and submit funding applications
