This three‑day course at the University of Basel introduces PhD candidates to Python for routine research tasks. Participants will explore data structures, file handling, functions, and best practices using Anaconda and Jupyter Notebook. Designed for beginners, the workshop empowers researchers to automate workflows, manage data efficiently, and prepare for bioinformatics applications.
Registration via CUSO, also for DSLS places (2)
Reminder:
The DSLS reminds participants that for activities organised in collaboration with CUSO, only travel costs can be reimbursed, based on a standard half‑fare CFF return ticket between Neuchâtel and the activity location. Accommodation, meals, and other subsistence expenses are not covered unless lunch is explicitly included in the CUSO activity. Any exception must be requested at least five days in advance and depends on the available budget. Students attending through CUSO‑reserved places follow CUSO’s reimbursement rules, and all original tickets and receipts must be kept.
