Le lundi 10 novembre 2025, le conseiller fédéral Guy Parmelin et la commissaire européenne Ekaterina Zaharieva ont signé à Berne l'accord sur les programmes de l'UE (EU Programmes Agreement, EUPA). Celui-ci s'applique avec effet immédiat, ce qui signifie que la Suisse est associée à Horizon Europe, au programme Euratom et au programme Europe numérique (DEP) avec effet rétroactif au 1er janvier 2025, qu'elle participera à ITER à partir du 1er janvier 2026 et qu'elle pourra s'associer à Erasmus+ à partir de 2027. Les Grant Agreements des projets évalués positivement dans le cadre des appels à projets 2025 peuvent désormais être signées et le financement des projets proviendra directement de la Commission Européenne, la Suisse versant une contribution obligatoire à l'UE à cette fin. En termes de possibilités de participation, les acteurs suisses peuvent à nouveau assumer le rôle de coordinateur dans des projets collaboratifs depuis les appels à projets 2025. La participation à des projets mono-bénéficiaires, en particulier ceux du European Research Council (ERC), du European Innovation Council (EIC) et des bourses postdoctorales Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA PF), est également à nouveau possible (depuis quelque temps déjà). On Monday, 10 November 2025, Federal Councillor Guy Parmelin and EU Commissioner Ekaterina Zaharieva signed the EU Programmes Agreement (EUPA) in Bern. Grant agreements of positively evaluated projects of calls for proposals 2025 can now be signed and project funding will come directly from the European Commission, as Switzerland makes a mandatory contribution to the EU for this purpose. In terms of participation opportunities, Swiss actors can once again take on the coordinating role in collaborative projects since calls for proposals 2025. Participation in mono-beneficiary projects, particularly those of the European Research Council (ERC), the European Innovation Council (EIC) and the Postdoctoral Fellowships of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA PF), is also possible again (for some time now).
