La bourse ERC Consolidator Grant 2027 (ERC-2027-CoG) a été mise au concours le 24 septembre 2026. Il s'adresse aux chercheurs de toutes nationalités qui souhaitent consolider leur indépendance en créant une équipe de recherche, ou à ceux qui ont récemment créé une équipe de recherche indépendante et souhaitent la renforcer. Le changement le plus notable par rapport aux appels précédents est un élargissement de la période d’éligibilité (5 à 15 ans après le doctorat), qui chevauche désormais celle de la bourse ERC Starting Grant (0 à 10 ans après le doctorat). Voici les éléments principaux de cet appel à projet

Fenêtre d’éligibilité : Les chercheurs ayant soutenu leur thèse de doctorat au cours des 5 à 15 années précédant le 1er janvier 2027. Dates limites : soutenance de la thèse de doctorat entre le 1er janvier 2012 et le 31 décembre 2021 (inclus).

Délai de soumission : 12 janvier 2027

Budget et durée : jusqu'à 2’000'000 EUR pour une période de 5 ans. Financement supplémentaire jusqu'à EUR 1'000'0001.

1sauf pour les PI qui s'installent dans l'UE ou dans un pays associé en provenance d'un autre pays, auquel cas le financement supplémentaire maximal est de 2'000’000 EUR.

 

The ERC Consolidator Grant 2027 Call (ERC-2027-CoG) has ropened on 24 September 2026. It targets researchers of any nationality who want to consolidate their independence by establishing a research team, or those who have recently created an independent research team and want to strengthen it. The most pertinent change as compared to previous calls is a larger eligibility window (5–15 years post-PhD) that now overlaps with that of the ERC Starting Grant (0-10 years post-PhD. These are the main call features:

Eligibility window: Researchers who have defended their PhD in the 5 to 15-year period preceding the 1st of January 2027. Cut-off dates: Successful defence of PhD between 1 January 2012 and 31 December 2021 (inclusive).

Submission deadline: 12 January 2027

Budget and Duration: up to EUR 2’000’000 for a period of 5 years. Additional funding of up to EUR 1’000’0001.

1except for Principal Investigators re-locating to the EU or an Associated Country from elsewhere, in which case the maximum additional funding is EUR 2’000’000.
