Master of Science in International Business Development

Current students

  • By default, you are enrolled in the basic programme, MSc in International Business Development (90 ECTS).
  • You may enroll for the enhanced programme (120 ECTS)
  • The regular duration of study is 3, resp. 4 semesters.
  • Intake in September or in February

Basic programme (90 ECTS)

Semesters 1 and 2 are dedicated to the acquisition of scientific knowledge and professional skills, while developing a multicultural perspective

During semester 3, students apply the knowledge acquired through the programme thank to their master thesis or specialise in a specific domain thanks to their minor.

Enhanced programme (120 ECTS)

Semesters 1 and 2 are similar as per the basic programme (90 ECTS) described above.

During semester 3, complete the credits related to the minor (30ECTS)

And in semester 4, students apply the knowledge acquired through the programme thank to their master thesis.

Electives part of the Study plan…

may be chosen without any prior consent of the director of the programme.
The electives in the Minors are part of the optional courses for students who are not registered in the Minor and can be taken without prior agreement from the director of the programme.

Elective courses in other master programmes…

can also be chosen electives in other master programmes from the Faculty of Economics and Business, from UNINE or from other Swiss universities. However, the approval for these courses is mandatory.

How to get the approval?

The student should send this request form to the Study Advisor
Once examined and discussed with the programme director, the Study Advisor will advise the student if the course is approved or not.
Please note that it is the students’ responsibility to contact the host university regarding all the administrative issues and eventual prerequisites for the chosen course(s).

AZUR : students attending courses at the Universities of Lausanne and Geneva are entitled to train fare reimbursement. Complete information on how to proceed is available on the Mobility Office of the University of Neuchâtel.
