Are you concerned about your ecological footprint? Are you interested in sustainable development issues? At UniNE, you’re in the right place. Concern for sustainable development is enshrined in the institution’s founding documents.
It’s also evident in practice, in research and teaching topics, campus resource management, academic awards and student association projects.
Sustainability is one of the institution’s key development priorities. On the environmental front, UniNE aims to achieve climate neutrality by 2045, and to reduce its other environmental impacts wherever possible. Specific action plans have been adopted for mobility and infrastructure, which are priority areas for action.
Would you like to learn more about the challenges of sustainability? UniNE offers a wide range of courses in a variety of disciplines. To find out more about the range of courses specific to your course of study, please contact one of our student advisors.
Members of the student community can contribute to a more sustainable University, by getting involved in the University’s governing bodies or student associations active in the field. These associations are behind a number of initiatives, including Sustainability Week and the Permaculture Garden.
