Money

The local currency in Switzerland is the Swiss Franc (CHF). An important amount of shops, as well as touristic areas, and shopping centers also accept Euros. Most cash dispensers also allow to take out Euros. Payments are done by cash, by credit card or with a bill (which needs to be paid in a post office or on your bank’s website). Checks are very rarely used.
