Registration Deadlines

1. What are the deadlines to handle the master thesis (internship or research based)

At the latest 2 weeks before the beginning of the exam session for which it is registered

  • for a validation at the January session -> 31 December
  • for a validation at the June session -> 20 May
  • for a validation at the September -> 31 July

2. Master Thesis Registration: How and When

The master thesis must be registered during the official registration periods, depending on the session in which you plan to submit it.

  • If you do not plan to submit at the next session, no action is needed in IS-Academia (both for an internship based or research based master thesis).
  • If submitting for the January or June session:
    • You must register the master thesis as a course in IS-Academia during the standard registration periods:
      • January session: between end of September and early October
      • June session: between end of February and early March
  • If submitting for the September retake session:
    • You must register the master thesis as an exam.
      • To do this, send an email to the Faculty Secretariat during the dedicated registration period, requesting the exam registration of your master thesis.
      • Registration period: end of June to early July
