Daniel Kaufmann holds the Chair in Applied Macroeconomics at the University of Neuchâtel and is Programme Director of the MSc in Applied Economics, as well as Research Fellow at the KOF Swiss Economic Institute, ETH Zurich. He is also co-editor of the Swiss Journal of Economics and Statistics. Before turning to academia, he has worked as Senior Economist at the Swiss National Bank.
