The Faculty
The Faculty of Science at the University of Neuchâtel is distinguished by its international reputation and offers a wide range of courses, from basic biology and mathematics to cutting-edge programs that are unique in Switzerland, such as bachelor’s degrees in biology-ethnology and natural systems, and master’s degrees in biogeosciences and biodiversity conservation.
It is strongly integrated into the local economic fabric thanks to its research laboratories in fields such as atomic clocks, plant survival and geothermal energy.

Study advisor
Our student advisor is available by appointment to provide information on Bachelor’s and Master’s programs, credit recognition and validation issues, and the most favorable study periods for exchanges.
She can also assist you with your academic career if you have a particular course of study. This includes people who need to take one or two semesters off, those who wish to study part-time or those enrolled in the sport-study program.
What’s more, she can help you find solutions tailored to your academic path if you’re facing personal difficulties.
