Academic Genres (B2+-C1)

Module overview

This six-session module introduces students to a range of academic genres, including abstracts, essays, and research papers. Students will explore the conventions that shape these different genres and put them into practice through a variety of hands-on writing activities. Particular attention will be paid to how academic writing changes according to audience, purpose, and disciplinary expectations. Through guided practice, discussion, and the analysis of academic texts, participants will develop practical strategies for producing clear, coherent, and well-structured academic writing.
