Research

My research is focused on the hydrogeological modeling of the coastal Roussillon aquifer (southern France). The aim of this project is to understand the hydrogeological water system of the region and its interaction with the Mediterrean Sea. The future climatic changes will also be taken into account since they can create additional stresses on the water resource.

I am using advance stochastic MPS (Multiples-point Statistics) algorithms, such as DeeSse (direct sampling statistics), to model the geological heterogeneity of the aquifer. A complete 3D geological model will be created and then used in hydrogeological simulation.
