Biography

Rocío studied Chemistry at the Universidad Central de Venezuela in Caracas (Venezuela).

In July 2016 she obtained a Licenciatura en Química degree from the Universidad Central de Venezuela.

In April 2017 she joined the laboratory for bioanalytical chemistry.

Rocío is particularly interested in organic synthesis, NMR characterization, as well as green chemistry. Her current research project focuses on the synthesis of nematode-derived secondary metabolites and the elucidation of their biosynthesis.
