Undergraduate and graduate students with an intermediate to advanced level of English (B2-C1). This module is intended for students whose curriculum is partly or entirely in English, as well as for doctoral students.

There are no special entry requirements other than the students’ level of. The module is intended for students with a proficiency level of at least B2 (upper-intermediate).

Before the start of the module, students will be required to take a placement test at the EMA.

The module will allow students to :

• be aware of the main types of sentences;
• analyse sentences and create well-formed sentences:
• use logical connectors appropriately and accurately.

The different grammar points will be learnt in context, using an approach based on observation, systematization and practice. Students will be required to work individually, in pairs or participate in whole class activities.

Attendance and test. To pass the module, you must

• attend the two meetings scheduled
• pass the test on 10 November 2025, 2.14-2.35pm Room D69 (EMA).
