Theses by article

Important information about theses published as collections of articles already published in scientific journals.

Most publishers do not accept articles published in Open Access with their journal’s formatting (logo, copyright, running titles, etc.) and require that a neutral text be published, bearing simply the journal reference, year, number and pagination. It is therefore not possible to simply insert a copy of the published article in the submitted thesis.

Some publishers require a delay between publication in their journals and Open Access publication on an institutional server. For UniNE and Libra, please enquire. The Sherpa/Romeo website provides detailed information on the conditions required by the main publishers.
