Interests and work:
My current research focuses on understanding the fundamental distinctions between activity and passivity, agency and patiency, agent and patient, action and passion, or active and passive powers. I work at the crossroads of the philosophy of action and agency and the philosophy of powers and abilities. My interests include :

  • Philosophy of powers: The metaphysics of powers; Active vs passive powers; The nature of manifestations and exercises; Mutual Manifestation model; Power-based accounts of causation; 

  • Others: Thomas Reid; Psychological Egoism; Altruism; Causation; Mental causation; Mind-body problem; Emotions
