Field of Interests

Geophysics, Sedimentology, all kinds of fieldwork.

I started my bachelor in Geology due to my strong interest for outdoor and nature activities, chemistry, mathematics and computer science. Quickly, I came to know Geophysics, who brought together both great time in the field and great time in front of a computer trying to understand why what we did in the field look the way it look.

I did my master thesis under the direction of Dr. James Irving (UNIL) and Prof. Frederic Herman (UNIL), focusing on the development of a new methodology for estimating inner ice movement using 3D GPR data through time. In addition to this, I participated in various geophysical or geological projects, with either UNIL, other universities or private companies.

After 5 years in Lausanne, I started a PhD position in Neuchâtel at the CHYN under the direction of Prof. Phillipe Renard. Currently, I am working in the Phoenix project. I will be focusing in this project on organising a big TEM campaign in the swiss Aar Valley, and developping new forward and inverse algorithms.
