The Mass Spectrometry and Metabolomics Unit of the NPAC houses the following analytical systems:

  • Xevo TQ-XS triple quadrupole (Waters) interfaced with both an Acquity UPLCTM I-Class or an Acquity UPLCTM M-Class connected to the MS through the so-called IonKeyTM MS interface.

  • 6500+ QTRAP (ABSciex) interfaced with a Waters Acquity UPLC equipped with an eLambda PDA detector.

  • Acquity UPLCTM DAD.

  • Synapt XS quadrupole-ion mobility-time-of-flight mass spectrometer (Waters) interfaced with an Acquity UPLCTM I-Class.

  • Ultimate® 3000 RSLC (Dionex) equipped with a PDA and fluorescence detector.

  • LC-20AR semi-preparative HPLC (Shimadzu).

  • GC 7890B coupled to MSD 5977 (Agilent).
