Afshin is currently serving as a Ph.D. Candidate in Management, as well as a Research, and Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Neuchâtel in Switzerland. Taking the Labor Process Theory, he is conducting research on how digital technologies and platforms are transforming the nature of media work, by digging into the subjective experiences of people in the media and relating them to macro structures shaping the media industries. Previously, Afshin has published papers in some well-renown journals such as International Journal of Emerging Markets, Sustainability, and Journal of Strategy and Management.
