Research interests

Since my bachelor's degree in Biology shared between the University of Lausanne and the University of Neuchâtel, I have always had a particular interest in soil microbiology, and more specifically in fungi. This interest has now been refined to the interactions between pollutants and fungi, and even more specifically their relationship with metals. I hope to eventually add a stone to the edifice of soil detoxification, as well as to the use of fungi for a less polluting metallurgical industry, whether for recycling or acquisition purposes. I am currently doing my master's thesis on the use of cyanogenic fungi for the extraction of metals from refractory ores with alkaline tendencies.
