Administration
The secondary (60 ECTS), main (90 ECTS), and reinforced main (120 ECTS) pillars allow for international mobility for one semester. This mobility semester is recommended for the second half of the second year of the Bachelor’s degree, or the first half of the third year of the Bachelor’s degree (semesters 4 or 5).
This mobility enriches the student’s academic career and requires certain admission requirements: first, a very good academic level (grade average equal to or higher than 5 in the psychology and education pillar); second, fluency in the language of the target country at a minimum B2 level.
For the main (90 ECTS) or reinforced main (120 ECTS) pillars, it is recommended to take 30 ECTS of courses in psychology or educational sciences during this mobility semester. These courses are mainly validated as optional courses in the Psychology and Education study plan (in blocks 3 – thematic courses in psychology-education, 7 – cross-curricular courses or 9 – methodological in-depth study). However, some compulsory courses (blocks 1 – introductory courses and 2 – research training) can also be validated in mobility, through recognition of equivalences. In the case of mobility in the secondary pillar (60 ECTS), the credits taken in mobility will combine courses in psychology-education and in the student’s other pillars. In the case of mobility in the final year, remote monitoring of the dissertation writing is possible in exceptional circumstances.
Erasmus / Socrates
Erasmus/Socrates agreements resulting from two PIC projects—one in social psychology, the other in educational psychology—with universities in Spain, France, Great Britain, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Sweden, and Cyprus allow for student and faculty exchanges.
The principle of Erasmus exchanges is to complete part of one’s studies (between 3 and 12 months) in a foreign country. It is a highly enriching experience that allows everyone to discover a new world of study, a new culture, a different academic system, and, of course, a new language.
This program is open to all students in at least their second year. A scholarship is awarded. However, we recommend that students who wish to study abroad do so during their Master’s program.
Application deadline: March 15 of the current year for departures the following academic year.
