Biographie
Dr. Armando N. Meier is a senior research fellow at the University of Lausanne. He received his PhD in economics from the University of Basel after research stays at Columbia University, Stanford University, and the University of Chicago. After, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Chicago before starting his current position. He teaches and does research in health economics, behavioral economics, and labor economics. His research in health economics has examined topics such as tobacco regulation, behavioral health economics, physician decision-making, and how one can increase COVID-19 vaccination. His recent work has been published in Science, the American Economic Journal: Applied Economics, and the Journal of Health Economics.
