Camille Tinguely

Biography

Camile Tinguely is passionate about the interactions between organisms and their evolution. Specialising in microbiology, she is particularly interested in horizontal gene transfer, a key mechanism in the adaptation of bacteria. Her thesis aims to understand how this process, although risky, confers an evolutionary advantage on bacteria.
