Supervisors

Supervisors play a key role not only in providing scientific guidance, but also in supporting the professional and personal development of doctoral and postdoctoral researchers.

This page brings together information and resources designed to support supervisors in their mission.

Here you will find details on services for teaching support and funding applications, tools and recommendations for effective supervision, as well as training opportunities to strengthen your skills in pedagogy, team management, and mentoring.

Newly appointed professors benefit from an institutional orientation that introduces them to the key services available.

In addition, the Graduate Campus offers a dedicated meeting to discuss their role and responsibilities in supervising and supporting the career development of early-career researchers.

The Graduate Campus remains available thereafter to advise and assist professors in their supervision practices.

The quality of supervision relies on attentive and structured guidance. The Graduate Campus promotes guidelines and highlights best practices to strengthen the quality, effectiveness, and fairness of supervision.

Other useful resources

Supervisors play an essential role in preparing doctoral and postdoctoral researchers for diverse career paths.

By informing them about professional opportunities, facilitating networking, encouraging the continued development of skills, and directing them to useful resources (including those offered by the Graduate Campus), supervisors actively contribute to strengthening the employability and professional autonomy of early-career researchers.

Other resources for career development support

The Research and Innovation Support Office provides information and guidance in the search for funding opportunities (national and international).

It offers advice and assistance throughout the preparation of funding applications, up to submission, including proofreading when needed. For European projects and certain mandates or foundations, the office also manages contractual aspects.

In addition, it provides support in the valorization of scientific innovations.

Questions related to data protection are generally handled by the Data Steward and the Data Protection Officer (Legal Services).
