Interdisciplinary award for sustainable development

Each year, the University of Neuchâtel awards a prize for the two best master’s theses addressing a topic relevant to sustainable development. The award is open all students enrolled in one of the University’s faculties. The winners receive a prize of CHF 2’500.

The objective of the award is as follow:

  • foster a better understanding of the application of sustainable development in different areas of research
  • reward critical thinking, multidisciplinarity and the integration of environmental and social themes in Master’s theses
  • create and maintain a collection of high-quality Master’s theses on sustainable development
  • encourage students to choose topics related to sustainable development for the Master’s thesis.
