National Centre of Competence in Research Plant Survival in Natural and Agricultural Ecosystems

The National Centre of Competence in Research (NCCR) Plant Survival, conducted between 2001 and 2013 and with the head quarter at the University of Neuchâtel, has had a lasting impact on the research carried out at the Institute of Biology and the Institute of Chemistry. As a reminiscence, here are a few documents that bear witness to its achievements:

Neuchâtel Platform of Analytical Chemistry (NPAC)

A legacy of the NCCR Plant Survival, the Neuchâtel Platform of Analytical Chemistry (NPAC) is a state-of-the-art service and research facility located at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Neuchâtel. It offers support in several areas of analytical chemistry for research projects and routine analysis for the academic scientific community, notably liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) and Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR).

Swiss Plant Science Web (SPSW)

The Swiss Plant Science Web (SPSW) is the umbrella organization for research and education in academic plant science in Switzerland comprising seven universities and ETH Zurich. Several research group leaders at the institute of biology are participating in this network.

Jardin botanique de Neuchâtel (JBN)

Originally a part of the University, the botanical garden became a museum institution of the City of Neuchâtel, a public place where scientific research is carried out.
