Discover our three research chairs

The Computer Science Department is made up of three research groups. Each group focuses on a different area of the computing world. Below is a link to each group’s official website (under construction).

Professor Pascal Felber’s group works on various aspects of complex systems, notably in the fields of cloud computing, large-scale and cooperative networks, concurrent programming and software reliability.

Professor Christos Dimitrakakis’ group works on decision-making under uncertainty. In particular, on reinforcement learning, human-IA collaboration, fairness and confidentiality.

The Machine Learning System laboratory, directed by Prof. Lydia Chen, studies Generative AI algorithms seeking to make them more trustworthy and efficient. These works involve a wide range of modalities, such as images, texts, tables, time series or gaphs. Projects also include collaborations with external partners from the manufacturing sector and other scientific fields.
