Biography

François Duc holds a PhD in econometrics and statistics from the University of Geneva.

His career combines academic and practical experience in finance. He worked for over ten years in asset management: first as head of quantitative analysis and risk management for alternative investments at Banque Syz, then as head of the Risk Advisory Desk for hedge funds at Union Bancaire Privée (UBP).

François Duc also ran the Business Economics programme at HEG-Geneva for over six years.
