Florian Habermann

Biography

Dr. Florian Habermann earned his PhD at the Catholic University Eichstätt-Ingolstadt, where he also worked as a Research Assistant and Postdoctoral Researcher. He later served as an Assistant Professor at Radboud University Nijmegen in the Netherlands and is currently a Senior Researcher at HEC Lausanne, supported by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF).

His research has been published in leading international journals, including the Review of Accounting Studies and the Journal of Business Ethics. Dr. Habermann has held research stays at Deakin University (Melbourne) and the University of California, Davis, and has presented his work at leading international conferences, among others at the Yale University Symposium on Sustainable Finance and the European Accounting Association Congress.

He teaches several courses on sustainability reporting and accounting, combining insights from academic research with practical implications for business and society.
