Michael Hasler has been a full professor of finance at the University of Neuchâtel since 2023. Before joining the University of Neuchâtel, he was an associate professor of finance at the University of Texas at Dallas from 2019 to 2023, and an assistant professor of finance at the University of Toronto from 2013 to 2019. His research focuses on how information acquisition, investor disagreements and learning mechanisms impact investor trading strategies and asset prices. He has published articles in the Journal of Finance, Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Financial Economics, Journal of Monetary Economics and Management Science.
