David Motzafi Haller

David Motzafi-Haller is a post-doctoral fellow at Neuchatel University working on the transimperial history of civil aviation and aeroscapes in the Middle East during the Interwar period. He received his Ph.D. (summa cum laude) from the Geneva Graduate Institute (IHEID) and his work has been published in Journal of Imperial and Commonwealth HistoryHumanityMashriq & Mahjar, Journal of Israeli History and Katedra with the support of the Swiss National Science Foundation and the Zeit Stiftung. His research on transimperial history draws on microhistory, social history, family history, border studies, and historical biography. He is the host and producer of The Transimperial History Podcast.
