Waste and recycling

In order to promote recycling, the University provides waste collection points throughout the campus. The University’s Buildings, Environment and Safety Department is responsible for waste management and disposal.
The best waste, however, is the waste that is never produced. Therefore, the University also aims to reduce the total amount of waste generated on campus, particularly non-recyclable materials.

  • Waste recycling stations in all buildings on campus
  • Projects and awareness measures to reduce single-use products
  • Minimising single-use packaging for campus catering
  • Extension of the lifespan of IT equipment
  • Internal reuse and sale of old IT equipment to the student community
