Mobility and Fundings

PhD candidates at the University of Neuchâtel (UniNE) are strongly encouraged to broaden their academic and professional experience through conference participation, research stays, and international collaborations. Several funding opportunities are available to help support these valuable experiences.

If you plan to attend a conference, first contact your research group or laboratory. Internal funds are often available to cover registration fees, travel, and accommodation.

UniNE offers targeted support to promote gender equality in academia:

  • Tremplin Grant: designed for women pursuing an academic career, this grant allows recipients to reduce teaching, administrative, or supervisory duties to focus more time on their own scientific research.
  • Equality Grant: a one-time financial contribution to support a specific academic project.
