CRRC research unit

With a team composed of professors, senior lecturers, postdoctoral researchers, and PhD candidates, the Centre romand de recherche en criminologie (CRRC) is an interdisciplinary research unit within the University of Neuchâtel.

Its projects—funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF), the European Research Council (ERC), as well as by public and private institutions—actively contribute to the advancement of both scientific knowledge and professional practice in Switzerland and beyond. CRRC’s research focuses on five main areas: criminology; criminal law (general, economic, and administrative); criminal procedure; restorative justice; victimology; legal sociology; and forensic psychology.

The Centre brings together researchers from diverse disciplinary backgrounds to address key contemporary issues in these fields with both rigor and innovation. It offers a stimulating environment for the pursuit of doctoral research in law and criminology.
