Free mobility exchange
The University of Neuchâtel (UniNE) welcomes students who are registered at universities with which we do not have an active exchange partnership.
Free exchanges are limited to one semester.
If you would like to do a free exchange at UniNE, please send the following documents to bureau.mobilite@unine.ch
- the application form (see on the right),
- a cover letter (in French),
- a letter of recommendation from one of your teachers (in French or in English),
- a letter from your university allowing you to spend a mobility period at UniNE (in French, English or German),
- proof of registration at your home university,
- proof of language skills in the language of instruction, minimum level B2 (proof required: results of a test or official certificate from a language centre),
- a list of courses taken at your home university (in French, English or German),
- your transcript of records (in French, English or German),
- a provisional learning agreement (30 ECTS/semester).
The duration of a free exchange is limited to one semester.
The Study Exchange Office will forward your application to the relevant faculty to verify your admissibility. If the faculty gives approval, the Study Exchange Office will provide you with all the information you need to come to UniNE no later than 2 months before the start of the semester.
- By 15th April for an exchange in the autumn semester
- By 15th September for a spring-semester exchange
