Project
As part of my master’s project, I would like to study the dynamics of insect communities as a function of altitude and time of year, and link these dynamics with plant-insect interactions.
To this end, I will carry out net transects at different altitudes (440m – 1520m – 1760m – 2050 m) in order to sample the different insect species present, at different times of the year. In addition to this sampling, I will study the herbivory rate of 5 common plant species at altitude (Plantago lanceolata, Trifolium pratense, Dactylis glomerata, Bromus erectus and Centaurea jacea).

In addition to this sampling, I will study the herbivory rate experienced by five common plant species found in the Swiss Alps (Plantago lanceolata, Trifolium pratense, Dactylis glomerata, Bromus erectus, and Centaurea jacea).
