Laure Noor Mili, a student in the Biogeosciences Master’s program, is doing her Master’s work in the Microbiology (LAMUN) and Functional Ecology (LEF) laboratories at the University of Neuchâtel. This research work studies the interactions between earthworms and fungi, and their impact on the degradation of soil organic matter. Specifically, it focuses on the ingestion and dispersal of spores of a saprophytic fungus by an epigeic earthworm within the soil ecosystem, using model species placed in microcosms.
