We encourage motivated students to work on the following topics: functional ecology, in particular species interactions, from an ecological and evolutionary point of view, soil science, in particular the functioning of early horizons and the involvement of soil organisms, the study of ecological gradients.
I also welcome students interested in developing new models for studying systems, as well as innovative research methods. The two main qualities I’m looking for are curiosity and initiative, in order to ask the right questions and find the right tools to answer them.
