In a context of increasing urbanisation, urban soils and their functions have become a central concern, with the goal of achieving zero net land take by 2050 and better integrating soil functions into land‑use planning (Swiss Soil Strategy). Protecting soils requires the acquisition of pedological information that considers their geographical distribution, history, and uses.
The aim of my PhD is to assess the importance of ecological infrastructures (green, brown, and blue corridors) and to map them. My research explores the impact of climate warming on soils in urban parks, as well as the accessibility of green spaces for residents. This thesis contributes to developing decision‑making tools for sustainable urban soil management and planning.
