Master Project
Project name : Biological control of parrot’s feather, Myriophyllum aquaticum
For my thesis, part of my research will take place at CABI (Centre for Agriculture and Bioscience International) within the “Weed Biological Control” research group, and the other part at the functional ecology laboratory. My project will focus on studying the metabolome of Myriophyllum aquaticum and non-target plants, in order to better understand their interactions with Lysathia, a biological control agent native to South America. This approach will also enable us to assess the potential of this agent for biocontrol of M. aquaticum, while taking into account the risks to non-target plants.
