
Igor Chervinskii is a doctoral assistant in quantitative methods in the social sciences. His PhD research focuses on parenting intentions, family-making, and childbearing among LGBTQ+ individuals and heterosexual couples from a longitudinal, comparative perspective. His other interests include migration and mobility studies, social work and LGBTQ+ rights activism.
Besides his PhD project, he teaches practical sessions in statistics I (“Introduction to Statistics”) and statistics II (“Statistics Applied to the Social Sciences”) at the undergraduate level.
He holds an MA in Sociology from the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS, Paris) and an MA in Comparative Social Research from the Higher School of Economics (HSE, Moscow).
