Dr Satoshi Tajima is Postdoctoral Fellow at the Centre for Hydrogeology and Geothermics, University of Neuchâtel, and at the Physics Institute, University of Bern. He earned his PhD from the University of Tokyo in 2025. Drawing on international research experience in Switzerland, Spain, and Japan, he studies surface water–groundwater interactions in coastal environments and the stochastic dynamics of solute transport in porous media, primarily through numerical modelling.
