Ana Paula Burgoa Tanaka

Background/Biography

My research proposes new approaches for characterizing and simulating natural fracture networks to model regions where fractures play a major role in developing preferential flow pathways.

I have applied these methods to study sites in the Western Swiss Alps, Northeastern, and Southeastern Brazil.
