Congress of the Swiss Sociological Association 2019
The Future of Work
September 10-12, 2019
The Institute of Sociology of the University of Neuchâtel is hosting the 2019 edition of the Congress of the Swiss Sociological Association. The theme of the event is The Future of Work. Many of our collective experiences and individual lives are organized around work. But work is changing. Technology, globalization, and new management practices are reshaping where, when, how, and how much we work. They also determine who works and who does not. This has far-reaching social and political implications that need to be unpacked.
Join us at one of Switzerland’s most scenic locations for a three-day academic event in which we will discuss the origins, logic, and consequences of the transformation of work in contemporary societies.
