Hongliang Zhang

Biographie

Hongliang Zhang is currently a postdoc in the Institute of Economic Research (IRENE) at the University of Neuchâtel. He obtained his Bachelor and Master degrees from Renmin University of China in 2008 and 2010. He obtained his PhD in Applied Economics from Oregon State University in 2015.

His research focuses on the intersection of environmental, natural resource and agricultural economics. His studies utilize statistical approaches and regional integrated assessment models to evaluate climate impact, vulnerability, adaptation and mitigation on agricultural systems. His work on climate change involves interdisciplinary collaboration with climatologists, agronomists, and sociologists.
