Research focus

Gene flow between cultivated plants and wild relatives, hybrid zones; polyploidy

We are interested in investigating mechanism and consequences of gene flow from crops to wild relatives in the perspective of risk assessment of the cultivation of transgenic plants. Moreover, we are also active in conservation of rare and threatened plant species.
