Chaplaincy

The chaplaincy is a service of the Reformed and Roman Catholic Churches of Neuchâtel, recognised by the University. A programme of welcome, meetings and discussions aims to help develop the inner resources of each person in response to the many challenges of university life.

The chaplains are there to support you in your journey, your choices of direction and your spiritual life. They organise activities, visits and discussions to help you discover, question and develop your spirituality.

Talks and discussions

The chaplain is available to students and staff at the University for one-to-one discussions: questions related to studies, life choices or spiritual issues.

Group discussions are held from time to time to address various issues.

Listening to you

We are available to listen to you and work with you:

  • attentively
  • confidentially
  • without judgement
  • free of charge

If you have

  • A personal question …
  • Something to confide …
  • An emotional problem …
  • A theological question …

The chaplains are happy to listen to you and help you with your reflections. They are bound by professional secrecy and will treat you with discretion.
