Biodiversity Law for the General Public

2022: Festival Vivant – Collaboration with the Neuchâtel Botanical Garden, Le Pommier and Club 44

Law is one of the instruments that allow biodiversity to be managed and conserved. As part of the Festival Vivant, students from the course “Introduction to the Law of Biodiversity Conservation” given by Valérie Wyssbrod presented different themes in the form of short films. Three films made during the course were screened outdoors at the Botanical Garden during the Festival Vivant in June 2022. The screenings were followed by discussions between students and the public.

2021: Collaboration with the Natural History Museum – Night of Museums

The loss of biodiversity is a very worrying topic today. As part of a collaboration between Unine and the Natural History Museum, students in the course “Introduction to the Law of Biodiversity Conservation” given by Valérie Wyssbrod were invited to look at the legal instruments that can promote the conservation of biodiversity. Three films made by the students on this occasion were presented during the Night of Museums in June 2021. The screenings were followed by a debate between the students and the public.
